Morrison, William vs Pierre Andre

Description: During the Circuit Court March term of 1815 William William Morrison complains of Pierre Andre in custody on a plea of trespass on the 30th day of November 1814. William Morrison says Pierre Andre is in debt for $57.75 and further more Pierre faithfully promised to pay him the said sum of money but has failed to do so. A complaint is filed by Johnston P. Q. The plaintiff William Morrison puts in his place G. W. Johnston as his attorney against Pierre Andre in action of trespass. A summons is issued to the Sheriff of Knox to take Pierre Andre into his custody and bring him before the judges the first Monday of March next. He is to answer unto William Morrison in a plea of trespass on the case to the damage of said William Morrison in the sum of $100. Robert Buntin signs as witness on December 6, 1814 and H. I. Mills, Deputy Sheriff says the writ came to hand the 10th and was executed on December 20, 1814 with the June 1815 cost of court bill being $8.82. The case is dismissed with defendant to pay plaintiff to recover costs and charges.
