Description: An indictment of the jurors of the U. S. of the body of the County of Knox upon their oath say that Charles Souderiette, laborer did on the 1st day of July 1810 assault Jonathan Purcell, laborer. The indictment is signed by Thomas Randolph, Attorney General for the Indiana Territory. A summons to the sheriff to take Mark Dunning to court to appear before the grand Jury is filed July 31, 1810 by R. Buntin, Clerk. The summons was executed by James Crow, Deputy Sheriff. The cost to serve is listed as $.46 1/2. A summons is issued to the Sheriff to take mark Dunning to court the first Monday of January 1811 to give evidence on behalf of the U.
