The last receipt states that Briscoe has sold the note to Jacob Severs and that Sheriff (James) Crow, once he collects the money, should pay Severs. The receipt to Crow is signed by William Briscoe and dated February 13, 1811. The verso notes that on February 27, 1811, Jacob Severs received full satisfaction. Severs made his mark and Bailey Anderson Sr. signed.
