A summons to the Sheriff of Knox County on a Scire Facias was ordered. William Gamble by writ and judgment of the Court of Common Pleas was to recover against Samuel L. White and William Stewart the sum of $152.50 in damages. William Gamble sustained these damages by reason of nonperformance of certain covenants and assumptions by the same Samuel and William and the said William Stewart who made together the costs and charges about his suit . That Samuel and William were convicted on record and it appears that Mesne Process remains to be served on the aforesaid Samuel L. White. William Gamble hath besought his proper remedy and that Samuel L. White is to appear before the judge on the third Monday, 1810 to show why judgment against him should him as a party in the suit. The document was signed by R. Buntin, Clerk C.P. K. C. on January 2, 1810. |
