A recognizance bond for $100 is filed against Martin Adams and Parmenas Beckes on their respective goods, chattels, lands and tenements. They are to appear personally before the Common Pleas Court for the County of Knox on the last Monday of July 1809 to answer to Lawrence Bazadone. They are ordered to keep the peace toward the people of the territory and to not leave the territory. This bond was acknowledged before Henry Vanderburgh on May 5, 1809. This case was later dismissed. |
