Description: This file contains the documents relating to the suit Nathaniel Ewing brought against Francis Antis for debt on a mortgage. The court cost bill, from the November term, 1810, is for the costs pertaining to the motion to quash the execution. The bill of exception, dated January 7, 1811, is signed by judges Daniel McClure and James Johnson. This document notes that the execution was quashed and Ewing accepted the judgement. General Washington Johnston, attorney for the plaintiff, argued against quashing the execution.
