Description:	This file contains the documents relating to the suit Nathaniel Ewing brought against Francis Antis for debt on a mortgage. The documents include 2 motions, a court cost bill and a bill of exception. The first motion is unsigned and states the the defense moves to quash the execution of the Court of Chancery. On the verso of this motion is a court cost bill for $.80 and 1/2 cents and notes that is pertains to the July 1810 term. The second motion is from the defendants lawyer Thomas Randolph and is notifying the plaintiff Nathaniel Ewing that the defense plans to quash the execution. This motion is dated July 23, 1810. The court cost bill, from the November term, 1810, is for the costs pertaining to the motion to quash the execution. The bill of exception, dated January 7, 1811, is signed by judges Daniel McClure and James Johnson. This document notes that the execution was quashed and Ewing accepted the judgement. General Washington Johnston, attorney for the plaintiff, argued against quashing the execution.
