A promissory note dated April 18, 1838 and signed by Alexander Chambers who promises to pay Samuel F. Chambers $250 on July 1, 1838. A notation on back states Robert Chambers paid $111.31 on November 1, 1843 plus $3.25 was paid on November 3, 1843. The note was filed March 22, 1849. A note on the Chambers, Thomas vs Chambers by the attorney for the defendant C. W. Allen says the note has been filed and executed in the case. A notation on the back states David W. Small, administrator of Thomas has charged himself with assets as follows, amount of inventory $294.50, inventory of accounts $247.06. Filed March 22, 1847 by W. R. McCord, Clerk. A document showing the fees due from July 1843 to November 1845 in the amount of $540. Document is marked fees paid. Filed March 22, 1849 by W. R. McCord, Clerk. |
