Bouche, Vitalle and his wife Francis vs John Delisle and Francis Valle

Description: Vitalle Bouche and his wife Francis, only heir of Nicholas Bayojon alias Bayergon (deceased) who died January 1828, file a petition of complaint with the court to reopen the estate of Nicholas Bayergon. Vitalle Bouche and his wife state that Nicholas Bayergon died leaving a large quantity of personal property consisting of beds, bedding, bedstead, tables, bureaus, chairs, pots, kettles, and other household and kitchen utensils, corn, plows, carts, horses, cows, sheep, calves hays geese, bulls and other numerous articles of great value of $1000. That upon the death of Nicholas the property went into the care of the widow Pelagi Bayergon now also deceased. Pelagi Bouche took out letters of administration in 1828 and gave Francis Valle and John Delisle her security on March 8, 1828. Pelagi is said to have disposed of many of the items through sales, and that she did settle the estate. Francis Valley and John Delisle, state that the estate was settled within the Probate Court. Francis Valle and John Delisle state Francis Bouche is making false statement of appraisement of Nicholas Bayorjons estate, inventory,and payments. The petition is filed May 15, 1833. A subpoena is issued June 13, 1833 by A. D. Scott for John Delisle to answer the questions filed against him. A notation states that Francis Valley is a non resident and lives in Illinois. The summons is filed June 13, 1833 with the cost of the court listed on back. On August 5, 1833 the suit is dismissed by the court and it is filed August 6, 1833.
