On April 15, 1847, Owen Mc Cone filed a petition for naturalization. He states he was born in Armugh, Ireland, and that he is now 35 years old. He left the port of Belfast on November 25, 1835 and arrived at Burlington, Vermont on September 10, 1836. Owen Mc Cone states that he lives in Knox County, Indiana and wants to take the oath of citizenship. The petition is filed by W. R. Mc Cord, Clerk on June 12, 1849. |
