On November 7, 1801, Pierre Minard did give information before the Justice of the Peace Antoine Marchall. The information was that a certain Isaac Davie did on November 2, 1801 take or carry away a sorrel mare with a black mane. The mare is about 14 to 15 hands high and between the ages of 7 and 8 years old. No natural or artificial brands are marked on the horse. The said horse is said to belong to Guilliam Laurimiere and was found in the possession of Isaac Davie. Therefore the court orders Isaac Davie be issued a warrant for the felony.
