On March 16, 1812, General W. Johnston sues out of his court Luke Decker who was the administrator for Daniel Sullivan deceased for $43.52 3/5 plus $200 in damages. A writ is executed March 18, 1812 by Jonathan J. Nealy Deputy Sheriff. On March 21, 1812 General Johnston files a declaration against Luke Decker. Luke Decker responds that in May 1798 General Johnston assignee did recover against Luke Decker administrator the sum of $20 dollars debt, and $14.60 interest plus $8.92 1/2 in cost making the total owed $43.52 3/4 for nonpayment. On November 24, 1812 a writ was issued against Luke Decker admin. for $79.65 1/4 with interest from March 21, 1812 until paid. To satisfy the debt owed 100 acres of land is seized on February 20, 1815. The land is located at the Buck Eye Spring in Gibson County as being property of the heirs of Daniel Sullivan deceased.
