| Description: |
There are three documents, which are all dated July 22, 1807, in this file: a security for costs, a summons, and a bail bond. Andrew Watson sued William Wyatte, probably for money owed. George Wallace Jr. paid the cost of an affidavit, probably of Watson to the debt, and the capias to take Wyatte into custody; and he guaranteed the court costs would be paid if Watson did not win and did not pay. Wyatte was taken into custody until a recognizance bond was executed with John McGowen as bail. At the court appearance Watson dismissed his suit. |
