Duly, John vs. Joseph Baird

Description: Civil court case in which John Duley was suing Joseph Baird for an unpaid debt of $281.25 and $281.25 damages. The debt, which happened 1799-03-07, was to be paid with good merchantable beaver or raccoon peltry or in cash. This seems to be the same debt which was brought to the court earlier in 1799. Judgment was for the plaintiff for $111.25 debt and $25.64 damages.
