Description:	Civil court case in which Noah Purcell was suing General W. Johnston and Antoine Marchal, Commissioners, on a charge of trespass vi et armis. Purcell was seeking $500.00 damages. Purcell was to have been falsely arrested and imprisoned for an hour. The jury found for the plaintiff 25 cents damages plus costs.
