This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Richard Snedeker, dated September 1, 1892. Richard first enlisted on September 17, 1861 as Private in Company A 9th Regiment of the New Jersey Infantry and was discharged as Corporal on November 24, 1863. Richard re-enlisted on November 24, 1863 as Corporal in Company A 9th Regiment of New Jersey and was discharged on July 12, 1865. Richards application was recommended by Dickhout. Examining Committee members were Robert Hines, S.C. Harrison, and David Denny. Applicant Elected September 1, 1892 and Mustered October 6, 1892. No. on Des. Book: 654.
