Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of George Reeves, dated July 6, 1882. George first enlisted on December 7, 1861 as Private in Company B 31st Regiment of the Indiana Infantry Volunteers and was discharged on September 20, 1862. George re-enlisted in 1862 (month / day omitted) as Private in Company D 126th Regiment of the 11th Indiana Volunteer Cavalry and was discharged in 1865 (month / day omitted). Georges application was recommended by C.S. Darnell. Examining Committee members were George W. Miller and George E. Palmater. Applicant Elected August 3, 1882. Applicant Mustered, No. on Des.
