Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Jonathon McClintock, dated August 9, 1883. Jonathon first enlisted on November 2, 1861 as a Private in Company D 43rd Regiment of Indiana and was discharged on January 31, 1864. Jonathon re-enlisted on February 1, 1864 as a Sergeant in Company D 43rd Regiment of Indiana and was discharged as a 1st Sergeant on June 14, 1865. Jonathons application was recommended by M.C. Rankin. Examining Committee members were J.E. Voorhees, J.F. Murphy, and Ed Watson. Applicant Elected and Mustered September 20, 1883. No. on Des. Book: 381. George W.
