Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic Reinstatement application of James V. Hoagland, dated September 18, 1890. James enlisted on July 12, 1862 as a Sergeant in Company K 14th Regiment of the New Jersey Volunteer Infantry and was discharged on July 12, 1865. James application was recommended by Frank Greenup. Examining Committee members were G.W. Miller, I. Corban, and George Grimes. Applicant Elected October 2, 1890. Applicant Mustered, No. on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted.
