Description:	This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of James Harvey, dated December 15, 1887. James first enlisted on July 9, 1861 as a Private in Company A 24th Regiment of the Indiana Volunteers and was discharged in July 1864 (day omitted). James re-enlisted on October 5, 1864 as a Private in Company D 43rd Regiment of the Indiana Volunteers and was discharged on June 14, 1865. James application was recommended by Frank Greenup. Examining Committee members were J.F. Murphy and George Grimes. Applicant Elected, Mustered, Number on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted.
