Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Peter Frisz, dated November 10, 1881. Peter first enlisted on May 15, 1861 as a Private in Company D 17th Regiment of the Indiana Volunteers and was discharged on January 4, 1864. Peter re-enlisted on January 4, 1881 (?) as Corporal in Company G 1st Regiment of the U.S. Veteran Engineers and was discharged on September 26, 1865. Peters application was recommended by William Dreusike. Examining Committee members were I. Corban and T.L. Gillaspie. Applicant Elected, Mustered, Number on Des. Book, Adjutant, and Post Commander information omitted.
