Description: This article discusses the General Strike of 1935 in Terre Haute which took place on July 22nd and 23rd. The strike was initiated by local unions in sympathy with the positions of the labor union working at the Columbian Enameling and Stamping Company. It was the 3rd general strike in U.S. history.
