This image is one of approximately 2600 pictures taken by architect Juliet Peddle from 1959 through 1979. These pictures were converted to 50 mm slides and sorted into collections which she numbered from A through Z. Each collection contains about 100 pictures and are sorted into chronological order. The slides were numbered with the collection letter and a number (A1, A2, etc.) and were meticulously labeled including notes on each slide in Juliet Peddle's own hand-writing. The last picture was taken about one month before her death. While the collection mainly chronicles items of architectural significance it also showcases life of Vigo County throughout this twenty-year period. |
