Letter from the Chief Quartermaster's Office, September 14, 1864.

Description: A letter from Chief Quartermaster Jonathan H. Finney stating that Daniel Timmons, of Company K of the 80th Indiana Infantry, was provided with transportation from Louisville, KY to Carlisle, IN. The cost of transportation was $2.22 and the money was to be deducted from Timmonss pay. The letter is dated September 14, 1864.
