Description: Photograph of the Democratic headquarters in Sullivan, Indiana, 1912 or 1916. Woodrow Wilson was running for president and Thomas Riley was running for vice president. This building was also a bank, and was located on the corner of Washington and Court streets. The campaign signs read Your country is at peace, the state is out of debt, the nation is prosperous, the democrats did it, let well enough alone, Wilson stands by labor. Nearby businesses include the Petty Hat Shop, Mattix & Foster Harness, and a barber shop.
