Native American Artifact, Carlisle, Indiana

Description: Color digital photograph of a stone axehead, full grooved. Handle would have fit into grooved area. Approximately 3-5,000 BC in age. This axehead was found by Arthur Lisman Harris in the 1950s on the Peter Lisman homestead. The homestead is located at the Lisman Farm on Indiana State 58 East in Carlisle, Indiana.
