Letter to Mr. John Marks, March 8, 1862

Description: A letter to Mr. John Marks from Melinda Scott, dated March 8, 1862. Melinda starts off the letter by saying she hopes that he is well and tells him that she had been sick. She tells him that he had not written to her in awhile and she wonders if he had forgotten about her. Melinda also tells him that she had been to church and they were all praying for the soldiers. She finishes the letter by saying that she will always be his friend until death.
