Description: |
Interior photograph of the Farmers National Bank in the 1920s. The cashiers counter are in a straight row. There are baskets of flowers in front of the counter. There is a roll top desk beside of the door. There are murals around the ceiling depicting scenes from around the Wabash River. The story behind the murals was that a traveling artist painted them for money to continue his travels. The murals are still in the building but are hidden now due to remodeling with a dropped ceiling. |
