The boy is wearing bib overalls, the girls in dresses with dark stockings and lace up shoes. Behind them is a wooden-frame house with a door braced open with a pole. A porch with a bench with pails/ buckets is behind the open wooden gate. To the right is a low brick and frame building with an arch window which could be a root cellar. Two clay tiles can be seen behind the tree next to the children. This item was donated by the Don McCue family. |
