Administration building Indiana state sanatorium Rockville, Indiana.

Description: This is a black and white photograph of the administration building of the Indiana State Tuberculosis Hospital once located 3 miles east of Rockville, Parke County, Indiana. In 1919, its name was changed to the Indiana State Sanatorium. The cornerstone for the building was laid 1909-09-16 complete with time capsule. The facility operated until 1968 and the buildings and land were later sold by the state. This item was donated by the Don McCue family.
