Youngstown Baseball Club letter from J. C. Cambria

In this letter from J.C. Cambria, president of the Youngstown Baseball Club dated January 9, 1932, Mr. Cambria sends Margaret a contract to play with his team located in Youngstown, Ohio in the Middle Atlantic League. The contract was not included with this letter. At the bottom of the page in a postscript, Mr. Cambria leaves a handwritten note stating that he thinks she will have a great year and to let him know when she can report in the spring. It is not known by the family if Margaret signed the contract and played with this team during the summer of 1932. |
