These inductees were Bruce Baumgartner, Benita Edds, Vincent Allen, Birch Evans Bayh Sr., Junius Bibbs, Glenn Curtis, Margaret Gisolo, Tunch Ilkin, Ferne E. Price, and Howard Sharpe. This was the first time since 1986 that the Hall of Fame had a new class of inductees. Chris Burkhalter, chair of the Hall of Fame committee and director of media relations, was very excited about rejuvenating the Athletics Hall of Fame. |
