Pageant of Old Vincennes at Vincennes, Indiana

Description: Real photo postcard view of the Pageant of Old Vincennes held in Vincennes, Indiana on May 19, 1916. The pageant was staged to commemorate the centennial of Indiana statehood. It took place on the banks of the Wabash at Columbia Park (now Kimmell Park). Four episodes in local history were presented, including the capture of Fort Sackville.
