Warrant and recognizance for Eustace Deille, 1800

Description: On January 4, 1800, a complaint is filed against Eustace Deille by Allen Ramsey. Allen Ramsey accused Deille of stealing and carrying away a brown man in October. The brown man is owned by Ramsey. The case was heard by Abel Westfall and Jonathan Purcell both Justices of the Peace of the General Sessions Quarter Court. On January 4, 1800, Bernard Daffron, Toussaint Dubois and Eustace Deille, put up bond of $500 each on behalf of Deille who is charged with felony for taking the brown man. Abel Westfall was witness.
