Knox County probate record for George W. Kackley, 1863

Description:	The probate record for George W. Kackley is housed in Box 68 of the Knox County probate records. It can be found at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House. A petition was filed by Sarah Kackley stated that her husband George W. Kackley died on March 26, 1863 and that his estate was valued at $300 and asks that an appraisal of the property be done and that she be appointed as the administrator. An affidavit was filed March 26, 1863 naming James M. Shepard and Israel A. Beck as the appraisers over the estate. A list of items with their value is included.
