Knox County probate record for Joseph Williams, 1848

Description: The probate record for Joseph Williams is housed in Box 47 of the Knox County probate records. It can be found at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House. A bill was filed May 19, 1849 from H. D. S. Bonner & Son for burial cost of Joseph Williams Sr., the bill was for a shroud in the amount of $3.25. A hand written document was filed September 1, 1849 naming John Westfall and Able Westfall as appraisers of the property of Joseph Williams. G. W. Williams is named as executor of the estate. The following items can also be found in the folder: inventory, court cost, and disbursement of estate, a sale bill of the estate, a bond by George Williams, John Westfall, and Isaac Williams and receipts of debts.
