Knox County probate record for Jacob Roler, 1846

Description:	A folder containing probate records for Jacob Roler is housed in the Probate Records section, Box 43, at the Knox County (IN) Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House. A press-printed bond dated March 21, 1846 names Alonson G. Roberts as administrator. This file also includes a clipping from the Vincennes Gazette, dated March 21, 1846 (administrator’s notice supposing the estate to be solvent) and a notice of an administrator’s sale dated August 20, 1846 published in the Western Sun & General Advertiser. Also included are a few bills, an affidavit and administrator’s accounts. Heirs John Fairhurst and Thomas Shute filed a renunciation March 21, 1846 ceding administration to Roberts.
