Description:	Two folders containing probate records for Alexis LeRoy are housed in the Probate Records section, Box 33 at the Knox County (IN) Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House. This is Folder Two. This file holds summonses, bonds and administrator’s accounts. Joseph Somes is names as administrator. Also included are notices for the sale of real estate as printed in the Vincennes Gazette in 1844. These advertise lots in the Borough of Vincennes number 494, 373, 418, 470, 26, 295, 349, 352, 401, 473, 478, 481 and part of Lot No. 15. Also lots in the Harrison’ addition No. 125 and 126. Also included in this account are an inventory so extensive as to suggest a large retail business, a bill of sale for that inventory and an extensive list of accounts due to the estate. Also in the file, but not appearing in this post: Numerous bills and receipts to and from the estate as well as claims against the estate and administrator’s accounts. Many of the documents have to do with the sale of real estate mentioned above.
