Description:	A folder of probate records for Richard Price is housed in 3 folders in Box 18 of the Knox County probate records section at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady Brockman House. Numerous items in this first folder include receipts and charges to the estate, a summons and a schedules of debts and credits. A summons dated February 13, 1836 lists as heirs: William Askew, Sarah Askew, Mary Ann Price, Catherine Price, Susan Price, Richard P, Price and William Price. A document (Petition of Widow, filed August 10, 1836) suggests that a Susannah Price is the widow. Other documents refer to a land-sale including Lot 84 in the “Borough of Vincennes.” This notice names John C. Holland and Martin Robinson as administrators. There is also documentation of a lawsuit filed and won by John Hay.
