Braille slate

Description: Braille slate used by Noble S. Fox who was blinded at age 16 while setting off fireworks on Christmas Day. The Fox family farm was between Bicknell and Freelandville, Indiana. A braille book containing the gospel of Luke, from the Bible, that had been written in and a paper containing the braille alphabet and numbers.
