Description: Color photo of the over nine foot tall bronze statue of George Rogers Clark inside the rotunda of Clark Memorial, 401 South Second Street, Vincennes, Indiana. Statue and Memorial to honor him as the Conquering Hero of the American Northwest by capturing three British forts, Kaskaskia, Cahokio, and Vincennes. Clark was born in Virginia and is buried in Louisville, Kentucky.
