Picture of Lakewood Park located in Vincennes, Indiana. The park featured skating, dancing,picnics, boating, had a bandshell and had refreshment stands. The view shows the lake and some of the dock going down into the lake. It was purchased in about 1906 by the Vincennes Street Railway Co. and closed in 1922 when the man-made dam broke on March 31. |
