Elihu Stout print shop,Vincennes, Indiana

Description: Colored photo view of restoration done, in 1950s, to inside of Elihu Stouts print shop. Print shop is located off Second Street, Indiana Department of Conversation, at the Indiana Territory State Memorial, Vincennes, Indiana. Above the fireplace is a painting of Elihu Stout showing the printing press to a young Abraham Lincoln, done at the same time. The building is original, built in 1804, and moved to the location.
