Photo is of two sisters, L to R Caroline Wilhelmine (Minnie) (Sander) Greaper and her sister, Helena (Lena) (Sander) Schroeder, standing. Each sister was born with a twin, who died in infancy, Lena a sister and Minnie a brother. Another set of twins were born about 1856, and both died in their infancy, making a total of ten children born to the family, four living. The sisters lived in Westphalia, Vigo Township, Indiana. Taken about 1885 (?). |
