Fox family and their farm house

Description: Photo of the Fox family in front of their house, which was built in the summer of 1895, replacing a log cabin. The house had central heating and a dumb waiter from kitchen to basement. L to R-Hired Hand (name unknown), Bertha Fox (Grable), farmer Ferdinand Fox, mother (Carrie) Caroline (Nixon) Fox, Noble S. Fox. Located in Washington Township, Knox County, between Bicknell and Freelandville. Son Noble S. Fox was blinded at age 16 but became a successful farmer. Girl has a doll in a doll carriage.
