Description: Civilian Conservation Corps, Camp D-1 Monon, Indiana, Newsletter for November 1935. Contains a farewell to the previous Camp Commander, Lt. Ralph J. Hornaday. A section writing about selecting a vocation because they have entered an age of specialists. A section chronicaling the organization of Company 1582. A section on Education comments about the various kinds of education that are being provided, including: typing, truck driving, auto mechanics, drafting, mathematics, reading, wiritng, boxing, spelling, current events, leadership, first aid, wood-work, journalism, astrology, dancing and dramatics being mentioned. There is a page long poem and a page of jokes.
