Great slaughter of animals

Description: One typed page describing hunting animals in the pioneer days of Vermillion County, Indiana. There was a contest to hunt animals, and wolves, foxes, crows, raccoons, and minks were given more credit than other animals. Squirrels and chipmunks were given less credit than other animals. By the end of the competition, they had killed seventy thousand animals.
