These include statistics, travel information, and other internal paperwork ofIntercollegiate Athletics. Media Guides. The media guides are publications by the Indiana State Athletic Department foruse by media personalities and recruitment at ISU. The media guides provide information aboutparticipants, coaches, upcoming games, and history (i.e., past competitions and statisticalhistory). Photographic and Film Media. This series includes photographic prints of teams and individuals,8mm film taken for use in training, slides, and negatives. Press Releases. This series collects the press releases created by Media Relations withinIntercollegiate Athletics, announcing games and promoting teams and individuals. Publications. These flyers, pamphlets and brochures are designed to promote sports toindividuals and constituencies. Scrapbooks. These books record media stories and memorabilia about ISU sports teams fromother, outside sources. Uniforms. These uniforms are from the Sparkettes, the Sycamore Sam mascot, and the baseballteam. Mascot Drawings. In the early 1990s, the university had a contest to choose a new mascot.These are the submitted drawings. Cheer Team and Sparkettes. This series contains files relating to the running of the Cheer Teamand the Sparkettes dance team from 1975 to 2004. Artwork.
