The Faculty Senate is part of the governance of the university. It was established as the Faculty Advisory Committee in the 1940’s and then reconstituted as the Faculty Office in 1957 and then as the Faculty Senate in 1970. Its purpose is to represent the voice of the faculty to the administration and the Board of Trustees. |
