Description: 410THE NORMAL ADVANCEOne of our greatest needs among the girlshas been some place to take the young womenduring times of illness. The- cheapest way forany student to be sick is to place himself under..the care of.a competent physician and a trainednurse. It will not be impossible for this organization to maintain a room at St. Anthonys hospital in the near future for the exclusive useof young women of the Normal who are in needof careful, trained medical attention. Such aroom could be-secured at the hospital for $200yearly. We could also maintain a respectablelecture fund with which to command lectureson subjects of interest to the girls. Such an organized body could exert considerable influence.in the securing of a students building or adormitory, and could even lay aside a few hundred dollars annually towards the attainmentof these long cherished plans. The money couldbe loaned to students in the meantime.. All of the members of the League were entertained Saturday morning, June 5, at a BigMeeting in the associations rooms of the Normal.
