The League membership forthe year is 341.ALPHAOn May 8 the Alpha Chapter gave a picnicat the country home of Helen Wright nearClinton. When the picnic was planned it wasthe intention to take a tramp to the river nearWrights home, but on account of a heavy rainit was necessary to have the picnic on theporches. A buffet supper was served. Theguests were Messrs. Jones, Hayman, Curry,Carpenter, Ralston, Schoeppel, Winkler, Mc-Cormick, and Curry. The chaperons were MissSwihart and Mr. Clippinger.The Alpha girls- surprised Mary Phillipswith a birthday party, at her home in CollettPark Place May 10. After a picnic supper,the girls toasted marshmallows over the openfire in the library. The Alphas presented MissPhillips with an Alpha spoon.The Alpha Chapter entertained the townAlumnae and Faculty friends with a musicalat the home of Carabelle Greiner in Centerstreet, May 22. The house was artistically decorated in the Alpha color, yellow the colorscheme was also carried out in the refreshments.
